In the year 2000

I work for a pretty cool magazine. Technology Review is the oldest tech magazine in the world, founded in 1899. There have been over 700 issues published. Recently we began digitally archiving old issues. As I was browsing I came across some really amazing, and not so amazing, cover designs. The 60′s produced some great work. The covers were simple, bold, and usually abstract. There were no cover lines to distract from the image. Here are a few really nice ones.

It’s just… SO. GOOD. In every way. I can’t help but think of this though.
