Check out these really neat examples of what HTML5 can do by this guy Mr.doob, who was responsible for creating that crazy Arcade Fire video, The Wilderness Downtown. The potential applications of this technology, other than just being fun to play with, seem endless. Unfortunately it’s going to be a while before all browsers are HTML5 compatible (I’m looking at you, IE), but at least I’ll have some time to try to wrap my head around how to use and code it.
